L7 03 Solution User Study Plan
Planning for a user study Summary
Research Plan Structure
Target Users:
- Split between power shoppers and casual shoppers
- Split between one person households and multi-person households
- Slightly skewed towards people who have not purchased groceries online in the last 30 days
Number of Interviews: 7 x 60 minutes
Research Objectives (the questions we want to answer): - Have you ever shopped for groceries online?
- What was that experience like?
- Are there specific items you wouldn’t consider purchasing online?
- How would you feel about groceries being automatically ordered for you?
- Are there any concerns that you would have?
Things to Remember
A lot of work goes into running a user study before the interview even starts! It will be important to correctly identify and invite your target users to participate in the interview. At the same time, it’s also important that you identify clear questions that you hope to answer through the study, along with the more specific questions you will ask the user in order to answer the larger overarching question.
